Record Growth Spurs Tekmicro Expansion

TEK Microsystems, Inc.a leading supplier of Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) digitizer / FPGA processor solutions for defense and intelligence applications reports it will post record revenues and profits for 2009*, resulting in several expansion initiatives.
The Company has moved its headquarters to 300 Apollo Drive in Chelmsford, MA. The new facility provides Tekmicro a larger space for today's needs and options for further expansion. The Company has expanded its engineering staff in 2009 and plans additional hiring for early 2010.
The Company has strengthened its European presence by adding a strategic distribution channel in Israel. Dan-el Technologies Ltd. has been selected to market and sell Tekmicro's advanced high-performance boards and systems in Israel.
"Despite a soft economy in many sectors, including the U.S. Defense markets, Tekmicro has seen growth in sales and profits in 2009. Sales in the U.S., Europe, and Australia have been strong and we anticipate a further strengthening in 2010," comments Andrew Reddig, CEO/CTO of Tekmicro. "We credit our successes this year to our robust family of best-in-class VXS boards and systems that deliver high performance, low latency, and unmatched signal integrity. During 2010 we will further expand our QuiXilica products using Virtex 6 FPGA technology and the OpenVPX standard.
