Tundra Semiconductor's RapidIO and VME Products Offer Optimal Performance and Reliability

Ottawa, Ontario - January 15, 2007 - Tundra Semiconductor Corporation (TSX:TUN), the leader in System Interconnect, today presented to industry leaders at the VMEbus International Trade Association's (VITA) annual Bus and Board Conference in Long Beach, California.

In his keynote address, Tundra President and Chief Executive Officer, Daniel Hoste stated, "RapidIO is the right serial interconnect because the technology provides the optimal performance and reliability for next-generations critical embedded systems. Tundra presented the compelling benefits of adding RapidIO serial interconnect to VME-based designs, concluding that RapidIO increases system performance for critical embedded systems by offering a low latency, high bandwidth connection for multiple processors and seamless support for globally shared memory. RapidIO also offers the lowest system cost when compared to other serial interconnects.
