PMC Module with High-Density User-Programmable FPGA

TEWS TECHNOLOGIES now offers the TPMC630, a low cost user-programmable FPGA-based PMC module with 300K or 600K system gates. Designed for industrial, transportation, and COTS applications, where specialized I/O or long-term availability is required, the TPMC630 provides a number of advantages including a customizable interface for unique application requirements and a FPGA-based design for product lifecycle management issues.

The TPMC630-x0x has 64 ESD-protected TTL lines, the TPMC630-x1x provides 32 differential I/O lines using EIA422/485 compatible ESD-protected line transceivers, and the TPMC630-x2x provides a mix of 32 TTL and 16 differential I/Os.

The FPGA is configured by a serial Flash. The Flash device is in-system programmable via driver software over the PCI bus. An in-circuit debugging option is available via an optionally mountable JTAG header for readback and real-time debugging of the FPGA design.

User applications can be developed using the design software ISE WebPACK from Xilinx.

Extensive software support for major operating systems such as Windows, LynxOS, Linux, VxWorks, QNX, and Integrity is available.
