The revival of 2eSST VME computing with embedded Intel CPUs

Until recently, boards with 2eSST bus were based only on PowerPC processors, perhaps limiting their acceptance in the market. These days, however, modern VME boards featuring 2eSST combined with Intel CPUs can eliminate the costly redesigns associated with VME64 and the bottlenecks associated with VME64x.
